Inside The Mind of a Couch Potato
by Carol Clewlow (Actors: 3)
A surreal examination of why some of us are less motivated than others to take regular exercise. The exercise police raid the home of our couch potato who makes impassioned arguments as to his innocence. We meet a good cop and a bad cop and hear arguments and counter arguments for the plaintiff's defence and prosecution. This play was first performed at the Active England Conference at The Reebok Stadium, Bolton in June 2005. In the workshop that follows delegates get to decide if he should go down for his crime. Most recently the play was chosen for the July 2008 Middlesbrough Health Summit.
