This play was first performed on Radio 4 as part of the "Posties" series and adapted for the first year medical students.  Jeannie won’t eat and her mother, a school dinner lady, recently divorced and with too much on her own plate can't get through to her daughter or understand why she has anorexia.  An intimate and moving portrayal of the strain on family relationships caused by anorexia.  Jeannie and her Mum eventually find an unexpected way to see each other's world and start to resolve their misunderstandings. The play is performed annually for first year students at Newcastle University Medical School.
