So Sue Me
by Carol Clewlow (Actors: 2)
A play inspired by the white paper 'Choosing Health' set on a game show of the future, which explores responsibility for health in a Jerry Springer style setting. The play specifically looks at who is responsible for obesity in an amusing and emotive format. The central heroine is an over-weight woman trying to win the chance to sue the system for making her fat. The play was commissioned by the UKPHA for its 2005 conference and was performed to groups of professionals undertaking higher training in diabetes management. Guaranteed to get the discussions going.
