Deep Mind and the Great Puzzle

A dramatic theatrical response by Operating Theatre to the CANDO project, examining the impact of technology on the human body and the human mind.

Quantum computing has helped eradicate most disease. The United Nations has finally adopted the Fourth Age Charter and the lucky few who can afford it live happy, healthy lives. The population dip has brought with it undeniable benefits. The world is a greener, cleaner place. They promised us conflict resolution and they delivered. And yet, some people have the audacity to question their motives.

Performances will be followed by a post-show discussion.
Tickets available on a pay as you feel basis with all profits going to epilepsy charities.

A remarkable new art exhibition spread across two galleries responding to the research being done by the Newcastle University led CANDO project. The works by artists Susan Aldworth and Andrew Carnie explore the human perspective of living with epilepsy and the neurological processes happening within the brain.

The exhibitions will be supported by a number of talks and workshops.

Panelists

We are looking for panelists to join us at Alphabetti Theatre. There will be neuro- scientists, engineers and other technologists but we are keen to discuss these ideas with futurologists, body hackers and anyone else who is as interested as we are in where technology is heading.
